Executive Director Position Available

The Mid-Hudson School Study Council announces the resignation of its Executive Director, Robert Dillon, effective August 31, 2015.  Dr. Dillon is assuming the position of District Superintendent of Nassau BOCES.

The Mid-Hudson School Study Council is a non-profit corporation dedicated to improving education in the Hudson Valley and serving the needs of its member school districts from the seven Mid-Hudson Counties.  This is accomplished through focused research into common issues, the diffusion of effective practices, professional development opportunities, written communications, and a strong advocacy at the regional, state, and national levels.  

With an annual budget of $113,360 and approximately 60 member school districts, the council seeks a part-time executive director with a strong record of success as an educational leader, a working knowledge of public education in New York State, a proven ability to plan and execute large events and programs, a demonstrated ability to forge partnerships, and successful experience in resource development. The position offers flexible hours with attendance at Council events required.
